Recently held a baby shower, and I have nothing but amazing things to say !! The venue was easy to get in contact with and the pricing was fair and transparent. The restaurant is beautiful and perfect for a shower. The wait staff were impeccable. They ensured everyone had drinks and took care of the guests. They were in constant communication. The only downside was the food, but I didn't pick the brunch menu with the most options. The French toast was a little dry and the roast beef was okay. All in all I highly recommend

We visited for dinner on weekdays and found the establishment to be exactly what we were seeking - Inexpensive, beautiful, and romantic atmosphere. Despite the restaurant being busy, we chose to dine on the enclosed outdoor patio, which featured a heater for winter and a tent to protect against rain. The service was exceptional, the cuisine was delectable, and the pasta dishes and soups were impeccable. Notably, the menu offered numerous options, including gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free. A baby changing table is provided in the restroom. We would return and recommend checking out this place if you're in Garden City.

Novitá is another amazing find for 2024! I chose it for a Tuesday night dinner while in the area, and it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance and décor created a beautiful, inviting vibe. The service was impeccable--our server was quick and accommodating as we were rushing for an event. My group loved the food, especially the charcuterie board with its great selection of meats and cheeses. I personally enjoyed the gluten-free truffle mushroom pizza, which was absolutely delicious. My only regret is living so far away, but I'd love to return.

My cousin had her birthday brunch here on a beautiful day we were able to sit outside and enjoy. While we were outside they did have a private event going on inside but were able to fully accommodate us with great service. We all started with mimosas which came in these large glasses which would prevent us to keep asking the waitress for a refill over and over. They gave us muffins and bread to the table. I ordered for appetizer the caprese salad which was good, my cousin got the creamy basil whipped ricotta and it was really good. For my entree I got the rigatoni with shrimp I thought it was decent I do think that they have a lot more to offer here. They do not sell burgers which my boyfriend did want. Another person in my party got the eggs Benedict and another steak and eggs. I do think this is a good deal and would love to come back and try another option.

Beautiful ambiance and service. Enjoyed our Baratta appetizer. My gnocchis with lobster were good and different. Quiet and dignified surroundings.

9/1/24. Sat at the bar for a few drinks. Ordered the truffle pizza (well done) and bolognese pasta divided. Both were great. Max, the bartender, was really cool to chat with.

Rating: 4.5 Came here with a relatively big sized group on a Saturday night as a belated birthday treat with some friends. We were placed in the back, heated area but it was somewhat chilly sitting by the door and there were cracks of air between the window panes. Staff was friendly, fast (maybe even too fast- they cleaned they practically cleaned the whole table before I was done eating), and accommodating. Started off with some bread and oil, came out in paper bags. I shared a Creamy burrata (kinda had to since there was watermelon in the dish!). Most of us ended up ordering Fritta de mare fra diavlo with squid ink pasta (one of my favorites) as an entree. I ordered mine with garlic and oil - no problems. It was delicious and the portion size was very reasonable. Their drinks are pretty good, I ordered an Aperol Spritz (not on the menu) and the pour of the Aperol was generous. Overall a great experience!

It's been years since I visited Novita. Arriving on a Friday night the place was bustling and it was pretty much a full house; definitely make a reservation. Seating is comfortable, the ambiance feels special, but also casual. Music playing in the background, but hearing conversations with your table mates was easy. Note that after 9, the music changes to a clubby versions..shots, sots, shots, shots..... The wait staff was lovely and attentive. I love their extensive wine list, with loads of great by the glass options to choose from. We started off with a couple of apps for the table; the Spinach and artichoke dip was served with homeade potato chips and it was fabulous. So creamy and tasty and served above a tealight candle to keep it warm and gooey. The fried artichoke hearts with a lemon aioli were also delicious. I opt'd for the Rigatoni Ragu as my entree, it was hearty and enjoyable. While my eyes called it small when it was set down in front of me, it was anything but and super robust filled with meatballs and sausage. We ended the meal with coffee (which was bold and hot) and some zeppoles with were served piping hot and just scrumptious. Novita was the perfect setting to catch up with my girlfriends for a relaxed dinner.
